Used to beautifully define your natural lips with a hint of color.

3 THINGS EVERY CLIENT NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT PERMANENT LIPS:

THE COMMITMENT: LOW. When properly-done lips fade, they basically just go back to normal. So if you decide not to keep up with color boosts, it's totally okay. You don't have to worry about it looking funny in any way if you stop refreshing the color.

 • THE EXPERIENCE: Lips are no more uncomfortable to have done than ombré brows, & take about the same amount of time. Yes, the tissue is thinner, but we're working way closer to the surface for that reason. And as always, a topical numbing gel is used throughout the appointment.

THE RESULT: Perfectly blushed lips with more life & definition than before. The healed color will be about halfway between your natural color, and the pigment we choose. For this reason, every client heals to their own unique shade. We don't tattoo outside the natural lipline, to avoid that "Koolaid mouth" look once healed and we don't attempt an opaque lipstick look. Sheer, blushy lips are where it's at if you want wearable results that age gracefully.

THE HEALING PROCESS

Taking care of your lips after treatment is extremely important. Make sure to check out our Post-Care tips to see how you can ensure properly healed lips!

More info on Lip Blushing:

As we age, it is very common that our lips can "shrink" and we loose fullness, kind of like a receding hairline. But if you look close, the skin for us to use is still there, we just need to add that color back.

When we are able to do this, it restores what was lost, adds fullness, defines the borders, enhances the shape, and gives us the opportunity to play around.

Tips to follow for your Lip Blush appointment

Prior to your appointment you want to keep your lips exfoliated and hydrated.

Mix at home :

1TBS of Coconut oil

1TBS of Honey

2TBS of Brown sugar

Lightly scrub lips 2-3 minutes, removing with warm water. Keep lips hydrated leading up to your appointment with a shea butter lip balm. Drink plenty of water.

*CONTINUE taking Valtrex prescription if needed - directed by your physician.

14 Days after treatment, lip scrub may be used to promote moisturization.

All forms of cosmetic tattooing can cause redness and swelling, Your initial result will appear darker than desired but will fade 30-40% during the healing process.

We ask that you plan your session accordingly. If you have any major events or vacations planned, it is wise to schedule appropriately to allow healing time.

Healing varies with every client. Your freshly pigmented skin will appear bold at first and go through a healing process. Things like scabbing, redness, swelling and peeling are all expected. During your healing process, it is important that you reach out to your artist with any questions.
